Getting Busy!

The students at St. Anthony Catholic School wasted no time getting right to work.  With tests already graded and projects due, the students have had an opportunity to demonstrate their unique skills to their teachers and peers.  This year promises to be successful with what we have seen already with the quality of work the children have demonstrated.  Each week we hope to highlight some different curriculum topics or activities to help our parents understand what all we accomplish at St. Anthony and why we teach particular lessons and skills.  We will focus on arts & technology integration, specialist instruction, special programs and guest speakers, and the everyday classroom environment.  We want our parents and community members to become confident in communicating with others about the high standard of education your child receives here at St. Anthony.

Art Class

St. Anthony Catholic School PreKindergarten student Mariana Moreira enjoys her first art class of the school year. The students in PreKindergarten are working on developing fine motor skills which are smaller muscle movements that are mostly using the hands and fingers. These are essential for classroom work including cutting, writing, lacing, and more.
