St. Anthony is currently accepting resumes to fill the position of Development Director.  Applicants must have a college degree.  The applicant should possess the following skills: experience with fundraising, marketing, social media, Word Press website usage, event planning, volunteer organization, school admissions duties and have excellent computer skills.  All interested candidates should send a cover letter and resume to Principal, Julie Bordelon, at jbordelon@stanthonyeagles.org.

  • Thursday, December 18 – Classroom Christmas Parties. 2:00 p.m.
  • Friday, December 19 –  Advent Christmas Program at St. Joe’s Fine Arts Center, program begins at 9:00 a.m.  Dismissal will take place immediately following the program.  If you are not attending the program, please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at St. Joe.
  • Friday, December 19 – End of the second quarter.

 

Mrs. Moorehead makes us GREAT!

Mrs. Moorehead and Mrs. Lutz display the plaque presented to Mrs. Moorhead.  The Advisory Council and PA presented Mrs. Moorehead with purple Lilies and Ann Beard presented a painting  of purple lilies.

Congratulations to Mrs. Vicki Moorehead for being recognized by the Mississippi  Department of Education as a State Finalist for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST).  A representative from the MDE presented Mrs. Moorehead with her plaque at a reception held in her honor this week.  She is now being examined at the national level in the selection process.  This award recognizes teachers of science and mathematics for outstanding teaching.  We are very proud to call Mrs. Moorehead one of our own and wish her the best of luck in the National Finals.

Carpool Reminders

Parents, for the safety of our children, please remember to use the following guidelines in carpool:

  • All students must be dropped off and picked up in the carpool line.  If you are attending the school for Prayer and Pledge you must first drop students off, park your vehicle, and then enter the building.
  • Please follow the traffic line in carpool. Please be courteous to other drivers and use the entire carpool route.  Please do not turn in front of any vehicles that may be proceeding through the line.
  • Use of cell phones is prohibited.
  • Students grades 1-6 may exit the vehicle by themselves on the passenger side of the vehicle.  Students in Pre-K and Kindergarten must be assisted by a staff member.
