“Our Backyard” Presented By Kindergaten Classes

Kindergarten students taught us all the importance that all bugs play in each of our lives with their performance, “Our Backyard”.  Bringing together facts with song and performance, the Kindergarten students delighted spectators with their knowledge and talents.  Congratulations to all of our Kindergarten students for a wonderful performance!

NUT Pass – Friday, April 12!

Student Council will be sponsoring a NUT Pass day on Friday, April 12.  Although they will have one more special day in May, this upcoming NUT pass will be the last one for the year!  Students have the opportunity to choose the way they would like to be “NUT-ty”.  If your child would like to be out of uniform they may do so on Friday for $5.  If your child would like to have a uniform infraction, for example wearing jeans with their uniforms, then they can bring a $1 per uniform infraction ($5 maximum per student).  Celebrate this final NUT pass day by determing how you want to celebrate!  Students participating in this NUT pass day only have to bring the money for their “NUT-tiness” on Friday!  Should you have any questions regarding acceptable attire for a NUT pass day, please consult your parent handbook.  Thank you for your support of the St. Anthony Student Council!

Parent volunteer Laura Maloney, Mason Roach, and Amanda Cashman enjoy Earth Day.

St. Anthony Catholic School enjoyed a day full of enriching activities to increase awareness and appreciation for our Earth’s natural environment.  Teachers worked together to create different learning centers that included creating bookmarks from recycled paper, discussing soil conservation, and studying tree “cookies.”  Each student took home their own pine tree and sunflower to plant at home and share Earth Day with their families.  Special thanks goes to Mrs. Mack and Mrs. Nicosia for organizing this fun day of learning for the entire school!
