Decathlon Day!!!

Slather on the sunscreen and send your children to school in their House shirts and team-designated bottoms on Friday, May 17, for Decathlon Day!  House members have looked forward to this day all year and are ready to compete as a team in pursuit of winning the House Cup!  In addition, please pack a change of clothes and a towel as some games involve water.  Thank you to all of the volunteers who will be assisting throughout the day – we look forward to a fabulous event!

House Sorting

New students to St. Anthony Catholic School were sorted into Houses this week by “Saint Anthony” himself!  Each House received new friends during this annual ceremony.  Dedicated to building a stronger community and to reward positive character traits, House System events are a favorite of the students at St. Anthony Catholic School – especially the House Sorting Ceremony.  Congratulations to all of our new House members!

St. Anthony Catholic School third graders, Max Walenta and Joseph Endt, show their House spirit during the school’s House Sorting Ceremony.

Catholic Schools Week – Success!

2012 National Catholic Schools Week was a success!  Our celebration would not have been possible without the special help of so many.  With sincere gratitude and appreciation, the faculty and staff of St. Anthony Catholic School thank you for helping us make our school so special.  Through the sharing of your time and talents, you illustrated to your child the value you place on Catholic education.

As part of Student Appreciation Day, our Eagles received a free dress day, enjoyed buddy bingo, and worked together as a team for House Challenge in the afternoon. Pictured are members of the House of Pius as they compete in the hoop challenge!
