Ending Our Year With God!

WOW!  The year will be coming to an end on Thursday, May 23!  On this day, we will transport all of the children to St. Francis of Assisi for our final Mass honoring our departing 6th grade students.  Please make plans to attend the Mass with your child as dismissal will be directly from St. Francis following the Mass.  Remember there is no ACE on this day, so you must come to St. Francis to pick up your child who will be dismissed directly from Mass.  Please refer to Edline for the carpool procedure for dismissal following the Mass at St. Francis.

Important Calendar Changes

Each year our calendar has built within two inclement weather days.  This year we have been blessed with good weather and have not had the need to use any of these extra days during the winter.  Therefore, the Diocese of Jackson allows schools to adjust their calendars to incorporate the inclement weather days as it best serves  each school’s calendar.  St. Anthony Catholic School will adjust our calendar by ending the school year on Wednesday, May 23.  Because of this change, the 6th Grade Recognition Mass at St. Francis will be scheduled for Wednesday, May 23.  All students will attend the Recognition Mass and we will dismiss for the year from St. Francis following the Mass.  Additional information regarding the time of the Mass and dismissal will come at a later date.  For now, please note these calendar changes so that you may plan for summer break.  As a reminder, if you have students at St. Joseph or other Catholic schools in the area, please check with those schools to verify any calendar changes.
